I need to give props to speedysigns.com for lettering. They have done my boat name lettering and registration numbers using my custom fonts / layouts for what I thought was fair prices and excellent quality. They also did an exact boat name replacement following damage I had to one (do a search on accident returning from the Keys)
I just received notice from the Coast Guard that I had to change my registration numbers - evidently they no longer allow the use of an "I" or "O" (oh) in the registration numbers any more. Reasoning is eyes look like ones and ohs look like zeros. As result I must change an "I" to an "R".
Speedysigns.com is going to cut 2 new "R"s that match my current lettering for $5.00. Seems like a deal vs. having to change out the full set. In my case I guess I'm lucky since the letter I must change is the last one.
