exhaust options ... what do it mean?

i am a newbie to this performance powerboat gig ...

really not too much information around ... so i am a bit confused..

what is the difference between :

standard exhaust

quick and quiet

quick and quiet plus w/mufflers


Any thoughts on what i should go with??

Here is some information on different set ups for exhaust.

Standard exhaust = thru the transom or thru the prop always.

Quick Quiet/Silent Choice/Captains Choice/etc = systems where you can switch to either thru prop or thru transom using a switch on the dash.

Above with Mufflers = Means there are added unnecessary mufflers on the thru transom option tailpipes on a switchable system. Thru the prop is the only "muffler" you will ever need.

FYI The standard Quick and Quiet is NOT a switchable system. Only the Plus is.
