Alpha 1 Tie Bar

I'm looking for an external tie bar for a pair of Alpha 1's. The type I've seen connects at the rear trim cylinder shaft.

I can't remember where it connected, but I put one on my Formula 242, and it made a big difference in the handling. I bought it from WPM, it was about $300.

I was searching for something else, and I found a picture of the tie bar on the 242.

I contacted WPM. They want $350.00
Latham wants $800.00. OUCH!

I can understand $350. but $800. This is for my low HP 7 Meter, not a race boat. Just trying to get that last bit of wiggle out of the drives.
