Racing Transmissions

I am trying to do some research on performance out drives and came across a two speed racing transmission. Since then I have not been able to remember the name or manufacturer. Although I am just a student I have very detailed plans on an outdrive that adjusts the speed of the prop instead of the engine. If anyone has any information so I dont reinvent the wheel I would be very grateful.

b+m trans made 2 speed boat trans not sure if they still do

I think B&M makes some beefed up Chevy Powerglides (they're short and were always two speed) for marine applications.
I think I have read a good number are used on the West coast.

I have powerglide direct drive transmissions in my boat hooked to TRS drives. What would you like to know?
Volvo is doing some two speed stuff in Europe I believe or someone is making a retro kit for them.
