Can anyone verify if the X-dimension on a blackhawk is 16.25" and the distance between the bottom of the boat and the transom plate is 7.25"?

Is the blackhawk 8" shorter than the Bravo?

Also, does anyone know where the propshaft is at nuetral trim in relationship to the bottom of the boat?

I had all this information at one time but I can't find it anywhere! :boggled:

Yes, 8" shorter from prop shaft centerline to X" Dim (crankshaft centerline)

Thanks Lenny, do you know if my other two measurements are correct?

your sizes look to be right on the money

did you want the angle for neutral trim or just the gauge reading?

Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for. Based on those measurements I would guess that when your trim is nuetral your propshaft is even with or slightly higher(.25"-.5") than the bottom of the boat?

That's what I seem to remember about my blackhawk but it's been a couple years! :D

that is correct

the drive is trimmed at just under 1/4 when at neutral :)

What I mean is where is the propshaft in relation to the bottom of the boat. I am assuming it is about even(I swear mine was) or slightly higher.

Here is a pic courtesy of Cigdaze showing what I mean that shows his propshaft 1" above the bottom of his boat.

By the way, if you SLIGHTLY englarge the holes in your dash, you can get bezels around the tach and speedo. I did it on my boat! :D

Thank you for your help!

I have a new dash coming :hyper:

The centerline of the drive I will check again

I am almost positive that it is pretty much dead even with the bottom of the boat :)
