Anyone see this or have further information.

WILLIS, Okla. -- Investigators plan to reconstruct two speedboats that collided to gather clues about the crash that killed five people and injured another, authorities said. The boats collided Saturday on Lake Texoma, on the Oklahoma-Texas border, during a "poker run," in which participants get a playing card at five different stops and win if they have the best poker hand at the end, said Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper Kera Philippi

Yes this is/was a major topic for the past week on most performance boating forums. Nashville Catz (43' Nor-tech) and Flash Gordon (turbine powered Eliminator) had an almost head on collision during the Lake Texoma High Rollers Poker Run. 5 people we killed with only 1 survivor..... very sad.

Gordon might have had a transmission lock up on him which sent him into the path of the other boat. A reliable source said that he was having a transmission that was being finicky.

A very good reminder that things can go wrong very quickly....even with the most expereinced of boat drivers.

This is a super sad event, and gut check for all boaters....just remember to enjoy everyday, and love like there is no tomorrow.....'cause one day there won't be.

May God bless those killed and their families and my His grace be with the survivor...he will have alot to overcome.
