Nope, that was me with my Blackhawk on Torch Lake and my bro taping from the back seat. :D I'd guess I was hitting 75 or so on that run.

I'll never forget that day. It poured rain the whole way up. Pulled in the launch parking lot and the clouds broke apart and the sun came out. We had the whole 17 mile lake to ourselves for awhile! :D

Great Video!
When I'm up in that speed register,I can't look astern to see if I have a "Rooster" or not.
It's a rare time when the local lake that's close to me is deserted..It'd be neat to have that kind of space that you had that day to run..

Here I am at 80+. It was a handfull to drive. I still have the hull, but the eggbeater died.
I was going to guess a Marlin or a Sidewinder until I saw that you said Tahiti. What year is she? My sperm-donor built out '73 Marlin brand new with a 115 merc, later refitted with a 150 black max. Trim it out and she would look just like yours, pretty cool:wink: !

The Tahiti is 1974 vintage. I bought it February 1975 with a 105 HP Chrysler. Moved up to 150 Black Max in 1978. Ran the 1984 200 Black Max until it died in 2000. Rebuilt the transom several times and Painted it Imron pearl blue in 1995. Hull is in my back yard now. I'm thinking of restoring again, but will not put a lot of power back on it, maybe a 115. I'm enjoying my 22 Classic 502/470 HP now.

Blown 572 w/1000 hp hooked up to a dual jet. It looks like he's just making some "rooster shots," but there is one small part where he appears to get on it with the jet trimmed more for speed that looks like the boat will really move.

What an awesome clip. And boat.

I was interested in buying GEOO's boat. When he had it listed on ebay, and the auction ended early, I e-mailed him, inquiring about it. He simply said he sold it to a friend.
