Volvo to Mercruiser transom adapter?

I have heard about 'em before, just not this version. Seems a little steep considering it apparently doesn't come with an inner plate, just the outer transom assembly. Still lots of "gutz" to buy :(

This goes on the ouside of the transom. The transom assembly bolts go through it then the transom an finally the inner plate.

I sell them for 800 bucks. Its a little cheaper and quicker than replacing the inner transom and re-cutting the hole.

1) Do you have any better pictures? preferably as installed?

2) What power are they good for? my understanding is 300hp max
