Did someone say "Doogie" ?

This is my Doogie... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/ddbb38/doogie.jpg

lol...ok kidding ;)

Jamie & I have two dogs..an almost 9 year old mini-dachshund "Frankie"..short for Frankfurter..he is totally spoiled, sleps with us..and basically is the "boss" of the two dogs..

Then we have 90 pound Dylan..we adopted him from someone that worked with Jamie..they treated him terribly..left him outside in the elements chained up ..he came to us an emotional mess..filthy (after an hour of bathing he was still black) and very malnourished.

Since April when we got him..he is now a perfectly well adjusted house dog, totally submissive to the 16 pound weiner dog..a kind gentle soul who just loves everyone..and who also wants to sleep with us lol..he's gained 20 pounds since we got him and has quickly become the love of my life (sorry Jamie!) lol

I gotta dig up a picture of Frankie..since we got the new computer I havent put the pics back on..this is Dylan

Way to go Cleo....Is she for hire? To make a long story short a squirrel got under the hood of my truck and my dad's and I was able to fix the wires to the cruise control and one other but he ate the through my stereo coax. 505.00 later I have tunes. He also removed the insulation off the firewall. On my dad's truck he ate 3 fuel injector wires. So cleo is in high demand in Central Florida.

Here is our baby - Baxter (you figure out where the name came from... :) )
He is now a year and 2 months - very spoiled and very much has the run of the house....
The pictures range from 8 weeks to 1 year. The yellow lab is Ginger - a friend from across the street. The second to last picture was after a LONG day of partying - and getting fed everything from the kitchen table.

The last one is the most recent - Baxter is in the process of taking Agility classes. He just started but he seems to be catching on.

up ..he came to us an emotional mess..filthy (after an hour of bathing he was still black) and very malnourished.

Judging by that picture, He's not the only one who's no longer malnourished.......

With all of the animals that are mistreated it is good to see all of these loved and pampered pooches!:) I would risk my life (within reason) to protect my dogs if need be as they would do for me. My German Shepherds saved me from home invaders about a year ago. They were planning to ambush me and rob me in my own home. I don't think I could allow someone to tie me up in my home so I probably would have fought and tried to get to a weapon. Therefore my dogs may well have saved my life. One has since died of old age and was replaced with Toby - a couple of posts back. Now I will always have sheps.

My wifes dog, though I think he likes me best. Picked up the habit of naming our pets after Dead Presidents. Sorta what President was doing something interesting during the month we got the animal. James Madison, Harry Truman and Ronald Regan also reside at the house.

Here is my pup "Cowboy". Scared of bugs, strange rocks, and walking near his own poop. But hell jump off anything with water below him. Ya gotta wonder how they think sometimes!! Oh, he also likes brooms and lawnmowers, no sh!t.
