Everything is good, a false alarm if you will,.....but I'd rather be falesly alarmed than trying to put a house back together.
We'll probably have some light wind and rain today, but far FAR less powerful than they had suspected.
I don't think anyone has even lost power.

No wind yet in Orlando and only .55" of rain since midnight.

Actually our guys didn't even get wet today. I was hoping for at least some rain.

With all the news lately about Hurricane Katrina, we shouldn't forget that
Homestead has had it's share of devastating weather also.
The attached photo illustrates the damage caused to a home when
Storm Ernesto passed through the Homestead area yesterday.
It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take
life for granted!!!

With the exception of the MASSIVE DEVISTATION in Homestead:boggled: , it looks like all faired well. Once again, prayers were answered.
OK, now, let's keep it going for our Carolina Folks.

Total at my house from Ernesto...2.25" of rain. Sing along now everyone "I can see clearly now, the rain is gone!" Woke up to a bright sunny morning:) .
