Yesterday I took my engine hatch over to Minicraft ( https://www.minicraft.com/retail/donzimarine.htm )
to have the deck (white) color matched. They didn't have a direct match for those years. It is very close to the later "Classic White" which for several years was almost an industry standard.
Anyway, here is the code...GLD766WT1818-Q. This piece of information cost me $75.00, but I wanted to share it with you.
Disclaimer.....there's always going to be some variation from boat to boat, and year to year.
I hope this is helpful.

george, try wetsanding a area and buff it then see if it matches...lake water has a tendency to discolor gel..

Not in this case as I'm re-gelling a different hatch that is honey and red to match my white and blue boat.
I'll post pics.

Just wondering why a good shop or paint/gelcoat store cannot take a spectrometer reading and mix an exact match like the do with paint. This would resolve the issue even if its faded or discolored a little bit.
