I just looked, and there is no F-22 picture in the model registry. I KNOW I've seen one before.

Like a criterion with the raised hatch, the 22 classic cockpit, and no windscreen.

I sure am glad I'm boat broke at this minute. I'd hate to drive to Jersey, but I'd love to have it. :)

Was this boat from Brick Twp. at on time. Mostly white. If so I looked at it about 20 years ago.

In the pic the front deck appears longer than a Classic 22? Would this be the case?

The back looks like a Cig. I like it....alot.

All 22 hulls are the same, except for the addition of a reverse chine in early to mid 90's.

We know a former Donzi dealer here, and are going to inquire as to whether he has an old F-22 brochure in his files. If he does, we want to scan it and post it so that everybody who wants to can take a look at it. Don't know how long this may take tho . . .

2" longer and 2" wider then a 22C?? At least that's what the brochure says.

I really like that model. Then I'd have a normal Minx, and a Minx on steroids. :)

Boldts here from Grizzlies home in GA. I can't believe someone here hasn't jumped on this boat yet. Even if it needs a little work, it's pretty tuff to pick-up a decent 22' Donzi for under $15,000 not to mention a rare F-22. It's the perfect Donzi for those of us who like ours without windshields. The length and ride of a 22' Classic with the standard interior of a 2 + 3 and a raised rear deck like a Criterion for that blower motor you want to stuff under the hatch.

So, your asking why I'm not buying the boat? Believe me, if I wasn't paying a lawyer, I'd be all over this Donzi. Wasn't Don Tamm looking for windshield less Donzi boats?

Where in NJ is this boat? I wouldn't mind taking a look at it in person.

Thanks,

Rich

The boat is in Atlantic County, not far from A.C.
If you want to come see it we can give you
our phone number and directions to get here.

Is there a current survey available? How is the interior, and splits in the vinyl? How is the Imron holding up, any blistering?

I really love this hull. I would add an aluminum windscreen to her.

Thank you
Michael

This is the same boat that was being discussed last year on this site. We joined the site (Mott) when we got the boat because no one seems to know much about this model, and we wanted to learn more, if possible. I think I remember someone else in New Jersey wanting to see the boat, but the owner first wanted to hear an offer before he would consider letting someone see it, (???) so I guess nothing happened, and the boat had sat for a while until my boyfriend looked at it last year. Don't know why we were the chosen, except that the guy was tired of the boat not moving, and he wanted to buy a new Ford Mustang as consolation for giving up this boat, which he obviously loved.

Any issues with the boat?
Why are you selling so quick?
Did you do anything to improve her since you have owned her?

Thank you
Mike

Yes you are correct, but right now my lawyer is charging me $365 per hour to do what I could have had finished in one days time behind locked doors. While I like the F-22, I still prefer the lines of the 1981/1982 Classic 22 without windshield boat with the stock looking hatch.
