I had bought carpet for my 1972 Cigarette and the pattern was a little off (4") where the pedastal seats are. The guy told me his pattern was probably from a later year boat and wasn't in a position to redigitize a new pattern for me.

Anyhow, it was 40 oz. black carpet with a webbed backing that really stuck to the fiberglass floor without the use of glue or snaps. I sent the carpet back for a refund and am now looking for a new company.

I just received some samples from Corinthian and not as good as what I had.

Anyone have any experiences? good or bad.

thanks.........I just called them. All they have is 20 oz. I had 40 oz and thought it would hold up better?????? Have you ordered from them? If so, how old is your carpet.

Ken I had custom carpet made for the under bow area of my 22C. I just installed it last June. It's top notch carpet that's thicker than the stock carpet and has a heavy rubber backing. I'm happy with it or I wouldn't recommend them. A lot of members used bilt-right but he is no longer doing carpet. http://www.donzi.net/forums/showpost.php?p=376475&postcount=79

I did some research and found that I could get 40oz carpet from this place in Georgia. They use the Aqualoc backed 40oz marine carpet and have it in many colors.

Give them a call

Bilt-Rite will continue to do carpet. I just can't do Ken's Cig20 at this time.

Thanks,
