 I saw this. Other than mine, it is the only other 20 I've seen that has the Volvo setup.
It would be an easier project the 2nd time around.........but I'll pass:bonk:

Normal selling price for one in decent original condition is between $12,000-$18,000.something like this maybe $4,000 max and thats if you really want one.

Thanks Smoothie. It would be an interesting rebuild. Is the hull design the same as the Minx?
Thanks

You guys always amaze me. That is why i look at this site every day. I want a small boat to play with. I have a partner that wants one also. I have never bought anything off of ebay. I have someone that can do the bidding for me.
I too like the storage infront of the windscreen. I like the cigs and the history. I just like the donzi's much more. I just dont know if i want to build one or buy someone elses already built. Ted, Mr. X knows this. I have had him inside out quoting on his X-18. That is going to be a bad boat when he is done. I just plan ol can't make up my mind...
Sorry again Ted...

Hmm, I've just about finished putting this 350 back together, that I don't have a boat for. :)
Nah, I've sworn off projects.
Andy, I've got a Minx for sale.:)

Smoothie and I both had our boats at AOTH last year.
His (Cig) is broader in the beam at the transom and can easily handle the weight of a BBC.
My Minx's beam, on the other hand, tapers inward toward the transom, and would carry less displacement in the stern.
Similar dimensions and bottoms, but radically different otherwise.
I would consider selling my Minx (for the right price) and taking on a project like this.

matty,
i tried to buy that yellow boat in south jersey a couple of years ago. it needed stringers and everything...the guy wouldn't budge...and supposedly got 3k for it on ebay.
i ended up buying another one this winter in northern NJ. It's a basket case and i paid way too much ($3600), but I had to have one... I wonder where that yaller boat ended up...
:)
