-----I had the good fortune to be in the right place at exactly the right time last night. As I was pulling the 24 out at the Algonac ramp the Sunsation guys pulled up with thier newest creation. The very first 43 Sunsation out of the mold with twin 600s and XRs, and I snagged a ride on it. Very, very cool boat. GPS said 90 and ride was very smooth. Sunsation owner said 92 in chop and I believe it. They lost an XR drive the first time out and were just making sure things were kosher before going on a poker-run this weekend. Five blade Merc props made for good acceleration and I couldnt believe how smooth this beast ran at 85/90mph. 90 was around 5500rpm and turn in was very good. I didnt notice any over-use of tabs or trim in the turns and handling in the turns seemed great. Steps on this hull that I could see were not deep but there were a lot of them. Fit and finish were unbelieveably nice. I was really impressed with the whole package. Billet pieces everywhere and there appeared to be absolutely no short-cuts, anywhere!!! #2 is out of the mold and being put together with Merc 700s. They are guesstimating 103/105mph out of that one with #3 speedmasters. Hope Im at the ramp when they show up with it.
-----List price was north of 500 but they were willing to talk (alot) to move them out the door. This would probably be a more appropriate post over on OSO but I dont post over there so the DONZI sight it is.........Bill S
