this my 4 gate 9 quart oil pan with windage tray that ill be replacing for the 351w in moody blu its so sexy:bonk:

I cleaned the pan with steel wool and got rid of all the surface rust. cleaned it with acetone when done and then red loctited the bolts that hold the windage tray in place

zinc phosphate primer and 2 thick coats of high temp ford blue paint

moody,,,what about the dip stick? yoyu may want to invest in one of thease to drain the oil..

the dip stick is located in the timing belt cover. but this pan does not need a dip stick the bolt on the side is the fill mark for the pan just like a motorcycle check hole.

thanks for the oil pan drain link, i already have that though!

yes all i need is the gasket for the pickup its a high performance melling oil pump

i keep looking at the pics and dont see any room for that long ass pick up tube that goes from the front of the engine to the rear of the sump ware the oil is sitting in the lower part of the oil pan..
