Just bought a 1996 classic 16 with 200 hrs on it. i has the 4.3 LX motor with an Alpha one drive. I want to put a drive shower on it to aid in cooling. Can anyone direct my in the right direction to get one?:hyper:

very happy with my simrek's. put them on 5 yrs ago. No corrosion, no issues, 'cept cooler drives

Trick Marine has them on sale right now for $99 They ship quickly too.

I just added one to my Bravo I. It took about 10 minutes total to install.

For an Alpha, I am a fan of the Simrek. It works well for me.

I bought a similar, but not a knodkoff (because they are different and DON'T infringe on the Simrek patent) shower on eBay for about $65.00. I've been very happy with it.
The Simrek patent covers only the shape of the holes in the pick-up legs, nothing else. Previously the Simrek showers were open on the bottom and didn't work well in all positions of trim.
Any shape hole works fine as long as it has a closed bottom.
