Wow, makes me sad because that boat is almost an exact replica of the 22 I owned. When I met the former owner of mine, I was told that blue is a special order color. Your not going to find a whole bunch of them in that color. In fact, if it weren't for subtle differences, I thought that was my old boat. Not to put anyone's boat and price down, but I had $20,000 in mine when I bought it. It had a few more extras than this boat like K-planes instead of Bennet tabs, a full cover and pop up cleats. Good price though for what looks like a real clean package.

Did you notice how low the exhaust tips are? The drive also looks low but it's probably an illusion created by the low tips. I also noticed that 99' apparently did not have a fully cored transom. Nice boat though.

Very sweet and an unusual color on a 22, take a good look at the engine. Looks like there is a drop between the riser and the Captains Call hence the dropped tips.

whats the difference between the 365hp, as advertised, and the 385 hp?

I thought they were all 385hp??

I believe that engine is 385HP and the seller has the wrong number.

Also, that 454 MAG has the actual hours stored in the engine module. A merc scanner will tell you exactly how many hours are on the engine.

anyone else think it's a little odd that the boat has (what seems to be) new Livorsi II gauges considering the low hours and inside storage? no mention of it in the ad really, so it could be just an owner upgrade...

regardless... The boat looks fantastic, I love the color.

I was thinking a 1999 boat would have Gaffrig written on them? I thought all the lawsuit stuff was settled only a couple years back between Gaffrig and Livorsi

Bidding stopped at 23,700. If you click on sellers feedback you'll see that he paid 26k 3 months ago on ebay. Seller claims it's not the family boat he thought he was buying. I may go look at it , if it doesn't sell. 2-3 hrs away. I've never owned a 22 but desire one like everyone else and am finally free to purchase one . My dream is a yellow 10 yr old or less 454/502/496. I do prefer the old windshield! I need a trailer. Do you pros see any other issues with this blue boat? ..thanks Bob

I am enjoying that blue 22 ! just finished installing closed loop cooling on it twice!!! beware of 2 hidden plastic plugs on the blind side of the exhaust manifold for 98-99 454-502 mpi mag THEY MELT. LUCKILY WAS KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON IT. Glad I found this forum.

My son Jason's 99 18 had those same gauges..
My 02 18 has them too.
