Hi im from Norway and just discovered the Donzi boats. I talked a little with the Norweagian dealer and he says the Donzi classic boat is more of a lake boat then a boat for rough waters is that tru? if you had a family with 2 children would you take the 22 ZX instead?

Nxt question is do you have any sound levels they need to pass in the US? Here in Europe the boats need to pass a CE test.

thx Tom Erik

Tom,
No answer for you on noise level but I can tell you that the Classic series (16', 18' & 22') were originally designed as bay boats & were made for chop. As to kiddos, I had two out in mine yesterday & they had a ball :)

Just checked my 22 496HO with stock cans. 91.4 dBA at 5' at 90 degrees. The limit in W. Michigan is 90 dBA. Close enough for government work.
