Anyone ever have the Thunderbolt IV Module go bad on them? I've replaced everything but on the electrical system on my 350 mag and I can't fix the problem. Also, replaced everything that gets fuel from tank to carb still can't fix my problem.

Symptoms: Will run WOT for about 7-10 Minutes, then will start choking out, like it's starving of fuel or something electrical is cutting out..... Once it stalls, it starts right back up and will cruise at idle back to the dock so I can bang my head some more on the nearest wall.

Parts replaced so far Electrical:
plugs
wires
rotor
cap
ignition coil
confirmed no loss of voltage when engine begins to perform poorly

Parts replaced so far on Fuel:
Rebuilt entire carb
Fuel pump
Fuel Water Seperator
Verified Vents to eliminate Vapor lock

hmmm, guess thats it.... doesn't sound like so much when I type it, but man what a pain, summer is just slidin by!!! Any ideas????

Hmm..not to stray from your problen, but our engine is doing the same thing right at 5,000RPM.Ours is a custom built 350, but with that module running it. And we have replaced the the carb, due to other facts....So is this a sign the module is going bad?

Looking for a new module now. Seems that I can't get a new off the shelf Thunderbolt IV , I need to move to a V and replace the wiring harness......

Anyone have a Thunderbolt IV they would like to part with???

hard to tell if they have it on Mercruiser parts ......... I need to verify the part number. I found the exploded diagram, just need to verify numbers match.
