Another dumb question?

Can someone please tell me the fuel tank size on a '97 22? I put 50.5 gallons in the other day so I know it is at least that large. Are any of the spec sheets (if one even exists) online anywhere for these boats? Thks, Ed

Ed, if you crawl through the ski locker and look over at the front port side of the tank, I think all your questions will be answered.

thanks guys, looks like I was about out of fuel so 1/4 means empty (as many have learned) -- I'll crawl in there and chk it out George. Ed

Ed, on my '96 there is an access port in the floor storage/cooler, for the sending unit and such. That is where my tag is, and it says 55 gallons. But, with the nature of the deep vee tank, once it says 1/4 you better be close to your trailer or a marina!

thanks for all the info guys, I did find the access port under the storage area cover -- but the label does not align well with the 4" hole so I will try to read it with a mirror when I get the boat back in the garage, it took over 50 gallons at about a 1/4 tank reading (gauge is somewhat erratic also) so 1/4 = about empty as you said. thanks again Ed
