has anyone had any seat time in a z22
i have been looking for a zb21 and have not found one and since i have sold the pontoon i need to find a family boat any imput would be greatful

I cannot comment on the Z22 as I have no seat time in one of those... but I have had tons of time in a Z20. Our family has actually owned 2 in the last couple of years, we had one for 2 years before selling it to get a 22zx then went back to another Z20 for 2 years since everyone missed water skiing.
The Z20 is in my opinion one of the best runabout/skiboats out there. It works perfectly for waterskiing/wakeboarding with plenty of seats, ample storage space, is quick to plane, ext ext. As a runabout the boat rides very comfortably with the stepped hull and is actually pretty fast. Ours had a carb'd 5.0L and would run 52mph and she really loved choppy water.
After we had sold our first Z20 to get the 22ZX we eventually wanted to get back into a bowrider. I did some research on other bats (Since Donzi doesn’t make the Z's anymore) and realized that no other boat would due. Shortly afterwards we purchased our second Donzi Z20!!
Hope this helps with what you're looking for. By the length of the post I guess you could say that we liked the Z20's!
As a side note, we recently traded in our Z20 on a 27ZR. If you're in the market for a Z20 give Frank Civitano a call @ Typhoon Performance. He may still have it and the boat is pristine :)
