I'm just wondering what kind of performance gains (mph) can a set of the new sport tube headers from CMI give a 22 classic with the 496 HO? Is an honest 80 mph reachable?

OK, but are they "more worth it" than Hardins??
I also have issues with the life span of these puppies... :eek!: :eek!:
Yes, even in fresh water.... :bonk:

Really..... interesting.... how much cake for the hardins? And of course.... are they as pretty....

Is there any data out there on horsepower gains using the Hardins?
I am not familiar with any issues pertaining to CMI's short lifespan, where would I be able to find information on this topic?

Thanks!

Real world results with these new CMI headers is very tough to find, everyone has a dyno sheet but nobody talks much about in boat performance leading me to believe there is some disappointment. OSO has a recent thread filled with dyno #s and not much else.
