Hello,

Has anyone used a High Five prop on a 2' cuddie boat?? I have used them on outboard engines on bass boats and have found the High five to be a pretty good prop. I have no idea how it would do on a 23' with an I/O drive. I am going to use the boat for wakeboardng and cruising around the lake. Top speed is not a concern.

Also, has anyone used a stingray Stabilizer with a boat this size and power?? I have a 5.7 engine I think it is somewhere around 280 hp.

Thanks!

I have not used the High 5's but did do some looking into one, from what I could gather they give a very good hole shot and also have more transom lift then most. I would try to get it propped right then maybe borrow one of the lifting fins, I know of two guys that could not wait to rip them off their boats. They said the boat planed quicker but the fin sucked the stern down when they trimmed out at speed which slowed them down. Many people have had good results so it is more then worth trying.
