For The Schnook Hall Of Shame.
We were out on a new lake on the 4th. It gets dark on the horizon and the locals start leaving. We decide to leave when the rain starts, in a hurry pull up anchor, untie from friends, etc. Get to a marina and can't even come close to getting in the slip/dock/pier. Wife asking what's wrong with me - I don't know. Nice people on docks keeping me from hitting things. We finally throw ropes, get pulled in and tied up. This older fellow comes over and points out my ladder's still down. Note to self - never, ever try to dock when you can only turn left! :( Lucky my props didn't catch it.
