Well, I think if I move that one area about 1/32, then change that other part by 1/64, then.........nah, I think we got it now.

Check out that logo! It looks excellent Brian, hope it was worth the wait.

Sorry Lenny, I can't get Tropical Blue, what is your next choice?

Looks good, love the black....But if you get the carpet wet you have to remove the seats to get it out.

The carpet is available with or without the pedestal slits.

Available colors are: Red, Black, (2) blues, (3) greys, Tan. Also have berber style available: black/white specs, blue/white, honey, moonbeam. The berber carpet cannot be logo'd.

Lenny, I think the blue/white spec berber is right for your boat. I have no links, I'll try scanning.

Brian, no carpet for the forward tray? Usually comes w/ the package, unless you opted out.

Not on the X18 carpet, I have no dimensions, not yet anyway. Brian I think you were going to get me those numbers.

....But if you get the carpet wet you have to remove the seats to get it out.
It's marine carpet! The water runs off.

Here are shots of the carpet colors available, except black. They don't reproduce very well, but I think you will get the idea. If you put your mouse on the color the name will come up. Sorry, I can't put a logo on the Berber carpet. Smokey Grey was the original standard Donzi color but is no longer available.

Even though we get our carpet direct from the manufacturer, carpet costs continue to escalate, the last increase (today) was $9/yard.:shocking:

Man those Xs look great. Love the logo in the carpet. Now.....About Bilt-Rite closing shop? Is that true? Is it a cost effective issue and not enough demand? I think we need to talk to Donzi and get all their boats built with Bilt-Rite interiors like they used to be. Sinapore may be able to make it cheaper due to paying their employees less, but Donzi is American made and should be completely built with American built parts. Ok climbing down off the soap box now. Anyone got a loan officer who will take a chance on an apprentice interior guy who is moving to Virginia to start a business? Bob, I know those restoring the old Donzi hulls will really miss Bilt-Rite interiors if you have to close, but I'm not the one paying your bills so I understand doing what you have to do.

Bob, what are the chances of getting an X-18 carpet set done prior to closing, with the DONZI emblem, in this colour ?

Bilt-Rite has to go so I can afford to buy a Donzi! :)
No, seriously, there are many reasons, but I would prefer not to discuss them in an open forum. Bilt-Rite has a proven past and could still have a great future for the right person/people.
Lenny,
I can still do carpet. You choice was the same one I thought of for your boat. Unfortunately I can't put a logo on Berber, it just doesn't work. Call or email me.
Thanks,
Bob

Bob, I am "in". Let me know how to proceed. That colour is fine.

X-18, no emblem, center hatch, and the cut outs for the seats that rest on the floor raised fiberglass blocks.

Thanks. :)

Price please ;)

What color? Keep in mind no logo on berber.

Thanks,

Upper left, Dark Blue.
No cut out for the hatch at all. I do want the cut outs for the seat base, so I do not have to remove the seats for carpet installation.

I am still astounded at the super high quality of my seats that Bob made last year.

It is sad to see him close.

I am still hoping someone takes over the long standing tradition of providing high quality Bilt-Rite interiors. I will continue to offer carpet and tonneaus.

Thanks,
Bob

Yeah Bob are u still open? I need a cockpit cover for a 22c. Should I have one made locally by a custom canvass man or is the snaps/buttons a standard configuration.

Technically we closed October 31. I'm cleaning up for hibernation and also have an X-18 interior to finish. But like I said I can still do carpet and tonneaus.

Sofa King - snaps on tonneaus have to be installed by the end user, it's easy.
