Is it possible to retrofit a Baby 16 O/B with a inboard out board

My 175hp Merc seized up on my '76 Donzi Baby 16 outboard, and I have always wanted it to have a I/O with a V8. Does anyone know what amount of work/money would be involved in doing this project? Is it worth it? Does anyone know someone with a donor boat?
