This is the original engine in our 1967 18 Donzi 2+3 barrelback. We are re-glassing and chroming this winter..."The Blue Bullet"

blue, can you show us a full pic of your Donzi? Being a fan of blue Donzi', I'm liking the solid blue with white stripe look. It's an inboard barrel back correct? Have a club member who owns a green one with the 427 HM engine. Just would like to see some more of your rare Classic. :)

all that motor needs is a less restrictive exhaust system... that is oe hell of a pretty FE ford motor.... what drive is it attached to... and how fast is she with the 427..

Actually guys, everything in the boat is original right down to the chrome rub rails (except the right side exhaust riser). So, if your knowledgeable about these boats I would be very interested in the finer details.

Blue Bullet:

I just bought a '67 18' V-Drive very similar to yours, only mine has the small block engine. Can you tell me what gear ratio is in your V-Drive? It should be stamped on a small brass tag on the outside of the gearbox. Also, what prop is on your boat?

Its a vdrive.fe- 352 dist. in the rear tells me so. Nice boat! The logs look like there in great shape. Show us a pic of the whole boat.:crossfing
