It's official: The Dapars in conjunction with the Gibson have proven to be acceptable to the residence on the lake Now when people see my Minx they don't see it as that loud obnoxious red boat. They look at her as the super sexy girl she is. The lake Host commented it was louder at idle than at speed.
Best of all they don't keep calling "Marine Weenie" on me any more:biggrin.:

Joseph: I'm really glad to hear you are happy with the Dapars. As you know, I liked mine enough to suggest them to you, but exhaust note/tone/volume is so subjective.

PS: I was out on the lake Sunday am and it was so quiet and peaceful that I never ran the exhaust through the transom during the entire 2 hour boat ride. I just couldn't spoil the quiet. Jebus, I must be getting old.
