I pulled the head off motor and found that #5 piston is broken, and the head gasket is blown. Looks like time for a rebuild. I tried to upload pics. but could not figure it out. That explains 0 compression on cylinder.

Can you clean up and reuse that head?
Sorry to see the pics, looking at the other cylinders the engine was in nice shape.

It looks like the aluminum is isolated to the cumbustion chamber!
check the cylinder wall for scoring. If the cylinder is okay, that is a quick and easy fix. All depending on what you want to do. Personally I would pop in a new piston and rod Bearing, relap the valves and call it good< as long as there is'nt any sign of debree in the oil.
