Debbie was saying she'd like that blue interior that's for sale for a Minx in the classifieds, in her 22. Got me wondering if they were interchangeble.

The bottoms are exactly the same, the Minx backs appear to be a couple inches shorter. The 22 interior is original from a 1982, and the Minx is original from a 1987. The Minx stuff is on top in both pictures.

I have Jim's (Catch22) old interior in my Minx.
The back seat is wider and higher in the Minx than the 22.
The 22 bottom panel is about 3" narrow in the Minx, and the seat sides are about 2" to short vertically i.e., there is a space at the bottom of the side cushions when they're snapped in. Also they are really stretched side to side snapped in. Of course Jim's boat is much newer than yours so there may be subtle differences between the two different eras of 22's.

George, these bottoms are exactly the same, and the backs are exactly the same height too.

Actually, I took cover under a bimini last Sunday, but I was in the fishboat, where they are perfectly acceptable. :)

Joe, there must be a difference in the '80's boats and the '90's boats, because Jim's rear seat is definately smaller.
