Building a mild, hopefully reliable 454 for an old Cig 20. Previous motor that blew had SP hyper domed pistons (H426CP) and crane 134561 cam. I'm thinking of going with forged SP pistons. I have 049 heads with stock valve sizes--no plans for head modifications at this time. Do I get domed or flat top? Also, I'm thinking of getting either a Comp cam 11-242-3 (XE268H), or 11-236-4 (XM270H). Thanks for any help/ideas.
