We are looking to get back into another boat. Something a bit larger this time. We have a 2004 Navigator. Question is , what should we be able to trailer behind her? Clear Lake is about 40 miles and Austin is about 200. Curious what you are pulling behind yours.

we used to tow a 320 baja behind a bronco, it would do the 40 mile haul but the 200 mile would have taken alot out of it, i would say dont go above 8 or 9k pounds tops, good brakes and a equalizer setup help out alot, just take your time and pay attention and you should be fine with that load, the navigator is a 1/2 ton truck, so pretty much whatever you could pull with a 1500 or 150 you can do with your navigator/expedition

How does this look for a tow vehicle. At least they both have Z in the names.:yippie:

Impresive and good thing you tow on level ground!
