I was mounting my new remote oil filter and it has a 1/8" NPT hole for a oil pressure or oil temperature gauge.
I would like to mount an oil temperture gauge in this hole, but all I can find is oil temperature senders, no viewable gauges. Although I can find viewable oil pressure gauges.
Is there a safety or mechanical reason that I can not find an oil temperature gauge with a readable dial?
I have checked Hardin, Dana, Eddie and Marshall gauges.

Thanks,

Don

Don try gafferig they have the guages,,,,but you need to mount the sender in the oil pan and not the place you want to mount the sender for a more accurate reading....try this link..

Don,
Try a mechanical supplier. Someone that deals in refridgeration. If they don't have it, I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.

Don; Check the length of the probe on the Autometer. It is likely 2 or more
inchs long. That is why they are suggesting a weld on bung. I will check with a few of my refrigeration wholesalers Monday for you.....Ed
