I've been searching the internet for a replacement flame arrestor. Look at this picture and you'll see that what I have is an embarrasement. It's just all beat up.

The one's I've found from such places like "Rex Marine" in stainless all appear to be too tall. I'm happy to have the aluminum OEM replacement like what I have.
The inside diameter of the bore is 5" and the total over height is 2". Any taller and I don't think it will clear the hatch.
Thanks for the help.

You need to poke around a boat yard or two there has to be some clunkers that still have an arrester on them.

Dave you should probably go after market, the one you have is about as good as they get not a thing of beauty even when new just does the job.

David, Gaffrig makes a couple of 2" models.
An aluminum one for $29.00 and a 10" stainless for $175.00.
