Is anyone else here a member of BoatU.S.? I've been a member as long as I can remember. They are a powerful lobbying force for boaters and I recommend that everyone join. The magazine and newsletter are well worth the membership fee. www.boatus.com

the retail stores are now West Marine.... Yes, but members still get a discount there. Unfortunately the nearest one to me is 30 miles away while I have a Boater's World just down the street. Big ticket items I mail order.

i think you can also get a discount from TOW BOAT by being a boat us member, my parents have been members as long as i can rember..

TOWboat service is worth the price of admission for us Big Water guys. there is a 25 miles limit, but its still very cheap insurance.
