I have never been able to understand how the (old style) straight side mount stainless grab rails mount on a Classic 18. If I wanted to install them on my current 18, is it an easy project or do I need to cut access holes to be able to get to the bolt or screw heads from inside the gunnell?

Thanks,

Don

I think it's been done with wrenches attached to broom handles and such... It's really not that far out of reach on mine.

A young skinny nephew, or neighbor who drools over your boat works wonders for those screws and the hardware for the front lifting eye.
I swear.
