Has anyone ever tried a Mercury Revolution 4 25p prop on a 2001 26ZX Donzi with a 496 MAG HO motor, right now I am running a 24p Bravo 1 prop at 5600 rpm, I think my tach is bad, because the motor is only supposed to tach out at 5000rpm?

Revolution is available only up to 23 pitch. Have your tach checked out and it's possible your Bravo's pitch is not correct also.

Your tach is WAY off... you need to have it calibrated.

My 2000 26ZX with a 502 MAG & EMI exhaust spins a Bravo 1 24P prop to 4900-5000 RPM.

Hey Woodsy:

What kind of speeds are you getting with that setup?

The proper prop for that boat is a Bravo 1 24 Pitch, she should top out at 5000RPM No More. She will hit the rev limiter at 5200 so your Tach is out of wack. The boat should be running 65-66 Mph depending on equipment and weight in the boat. Hey Bill you should change your name: You don't have a 22ZX anymore. Bill I haven't been on the phone because I lost my hearing last week and it is difficult for me to hear. My hearing is slowly coming back and I am about 45% now. Last week I couldn't hear a Dump Truck drive through a Nitro Factory (Quote From Christmas Vacation). Best of Luck with her you are going to love the ride.
