I understand that CMI is releasing a header, or modifying the existing 496 version to work with the Corsa silent choice. This was my only hesitation previously, with all the new laws etc., I hate to lose that option, as well as using the boat so much late at night.

I am game to try these, hard to believe no one else has. I hit the upper 70's with the shorty (and lab prop), if the predictions are true with these headers, it would be an 80-82 - 496 boat. Sure would be nice to know if the claims of 50-60 hp, and the 3-5 mph are true first. Do I have to be the "registry" Guiana pig LOL.

Cig 30 - not to steer you off course, but what prop/pitch did you use w/ the shorty. What kind of power do you have? I just changed my lower unit 3 days ago and I am next trying to dial in a prop

Labbed 28 Hydomotive, I can get you the serial number if you would like. 496 ho, 4900 to 4950 rpms very light load, 78.6 gps. rpms, by tack and smartcraft, speed Garman 188c.

I only used the drive a short time not to void warranty, looking for another one now, some companies will trade the Bravo one. Where did you get yours?

The factory is claiming 80 mph on the 22' with a raised x, little optimistic I would guess in that we are doing the same.

I have not heard what prop comes with that package, have you?

I still have the prop, found it on e-bay.

I got the lower unit from sterndrive specialists , an advertiser from speedwake, also 25 minutes from my house. The true reason for my purchase from him . I actually spoke w/ Jamie from lakeside restorations( advertiser on this site) he was great, and with proximity purposes I would suggest you try him. Very knowledgable and a Imco distributor-
BTW are you still using that Hydro 28 Quad 4 or did you switch back to your
stock mirage? Let me kow if you would be willing to lend the prop out at some point in time.. I would be happy to pay shipping
