So far this engine has a fully ported intake and exhaust ports, ported cast iron intake, bored to 4.25 stroked to 3.75 for about 422 cu in. So far I have found no one that knows how the bore and strok was done. After the heads are done the crank will be going to Moldex and completely specked out. This engine was done over 20 yearss ago. I always liked the looks of them in rods.

--------The factory Buick nailhead aluminum valve-covers are the best looking valve-covers ever designed. Am I right Buick Boy???.........Bill S

I got to see Tommy Ivo's rail up clase at Don' museum, that is a great place for die hard hot rodders. Found a link to his site, have not been there in quite a few years but it was great.

MOP, if ya get back to Garlit's Museum, there is a dedicated Drag Racing Walk of Fame brickyard at the curb to the main walkway, I think my family brick and my brother's are the 5th or 6th in line, something like that...

the nailhead in the pic also has a Delco powermaster electric brake master cylinder/booster off a B body wagon. The intake is a dual quad Offy with custom towers, and a Hilborn top, mated to a TPI Z28 throttle body, custom fuel rails.

Anybody catch the serpentine belt on a nailhead ???? now, that's a first...

Bill, those specific valve covers with the side script were ONLY on factory dual quad nailhead's, usually in Rivvy's...
