Interesting. With its 105 octane, you could run some serious boost or compression ratios. You burn more of it, though it costs less. Can produce more HP vs straight gas with the right set up. Not to mention the many benefits from producing our own energy here at home.

I have had a few friends that ran alcohol at the track, the difference between it ang gas was more then noticeable. Like you said major increase in jet size and the amount used. It burns different it used to turn their aluminum headers whitish.

My brother and I ran alky in our race cars for years... we were buying 4-5 drums a month for a while... we had Ron's flying toilet's on both of them and they worked REAL well. Sloppy idling sometimes, but ohhhh boy did they make BIG power from 5000 rpm up>>>>>

alky burns way cooler, heat robs HP, but yes, you do use twice as much, i used to run it in my quad and it ran so cool, smelled better than the VP C12 i thought.
