Looks sweet!! How did the wheel change go? I'm about to put the same wheel on my ZX. Was it pretty straightforward?

Kikwear - That's the way the 18s used to come. There should be a rail on each side, but not in the front of the cockpit. Really a great setup without anything getting in your way when you need to go forward like a rail or windshield. My 1969 used to have a small rail over in front of the passenger mounted to the dash where on this boat looks to be a radio compartment.

JStokes - Really nice looking upgrade. Question, how is the dash changed? Do you cut out a big oval hole for the gauges to fit down into and then the piece the gauges are mounted to have individual smaller holes to mount the gauges? All of this then covers the big oval hole you cut out? Just wondering for those who haven't done a project like this. Is the MPH a GPS speedo?

There was a good size hole there from the factory. The boat is a 86. NO rails in front. I did however have 2 modify it slightly. The biggest pain was swapping the wires from each gauge off the old pannel than back on to the gauge in the new pannel. I wish it was like the newer 1's that I could just replace the gauges and there was no big hole in the dash 2 cover up. it's not a GPs gauge that 1 of the thing 2 come :) someday

I have looked at that dash and only admired it. I must say it looks even better than I imagined it to be. Great Job!!!!!!!
