The 33 Cig is pretty rare.....they were wide beam....@9ft I think. That deck looks funny though?......

I saw that boat a few times on the Willamette River last summer. I don't know if it's real or not, but I think there was a weird deck model about then
Check offshoreonly for info.

Here are a couple of pictures of a 33' that was located in Michigan somewhere between 1992 and 1996.

Hull looks right. Deck looks customized. Like someone grafted a '70s bubble-deck onto it. Cockpits been customized, too. Looks pretty velveta (cheesey) to me.

Ross picture I guess is the way they came and I guess the one for sale have had some surgery over the years. Aging gracefully is probably the way to go in most instances even if You're not born perfect. I've heard the 70's 33's were considered heavy due to to much teak and never really sold in significant numbers.

I came across this one while living in Michigan; I was looking for a 28' Cig. This 1979 33' at that time was listed for $44K.
Also, not completely sure, but I thought the 33's were built during the time Aronow was not the owner of Cigarette and these were really built by Aronow under the Squadron name. Old age memory, but "Squadron 12" rings a bell.

I had some email with the guy, he said he was told it was built by Aronow as a custom in CA. the serial number says California Home something, not a cig serial number

It sounded pretty thin to me

I stumbled across your posting accidentally, but--- If you need more info on that 33 Cig, you might try getting in toucvh with Marc Berman at BAM Marine in Pompano Beach (Phone 954 545 8681
Fax 954 545 8686
Email info@bammarine.com)

Marc is a dealer of Mercruisedr performance parts, but used to run THE shop for high performance boats here in Chicago. He's probably one of the most knowledgeable people around when it comes to fast boats. In fact, I think he still runs one of the original KAM Cigarette's in his new location.

He'd probably be abl;e to give you the skinny on the boat.

Good Luck
