Another warranty question

On the heels of Gold-N-Rods warranty question, I have a couple of my own.

My boats an 04 so obviously I'll transfer the hull warranty. My question is with the 5 yr Z-Care.
1) Is the Z-Care automatic with new purchases or was it an optional purchase. If it was optional, besides locating the original owner (boat was a dealer trade-in) is there a way to find out if the boat has it?
2) What all does the Z-Care cover and seeing as the boat is procharged, would there be anything still warrantied?

Z Care was dropped in 2003, now you have 1 year parts 5 year hull. Mercury passport has a 5 year full but it was expensive, Donzi got rid of Z Care because it drummed the price of a boat to high and the plan just avoided fixing anything!

Thanks guys. I was asking about the Z-Care because my warranty transfer card had the option on it. Boat was purchased early 04 so it is probably just an 03 card.
Being procharged, the speed and HP will be greater than stock. Do think Donzi would still warranty hull issues?
