Where were these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Donzi-Emblems-Badges_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33643QQitemZ8053 521832QQrdZ1) "used on many older Donzis"?

I've never seen them before either.

Maybe one of the old guys, like Madpoodle knows.

Well,

Looked around a little, couldn't find what I was looking for, but will P/M where I'm thinking :p

Hey if I'm right (or on the right track) great, if not, as it's a PM, no one will know how donzi stupid I am!!

Mattyboy is exactly correct, used on the older 3250's and
some of the 3310 crusiers as a boarding step non skid insert.

The Ragazza badge is too much like the ones in question to ignore Wayne's theory... 'Poodle??

I just looked throught the model list again, and found something similar to the Ragazza emblem I posted,

The GT series that came out after the Ragazza could be it, unfortunately the photo's aren't close enough to tell for sure, but could be.

Did we ever get a definitive answer on this?

Was CosmoKat right?

Just curious, and bored - getting ready to box up some MORE stuff

--------I bought the first set of these that popped up just for the conversational value. I sort of assumed that they were step-plates as well, but NOOOOO! Be forwarned; they are only 9.5 inchs long and chrome-plated plastic. There is, of course, conversational value. The conversation goes something like, man! is that olredalert guy dumb he just bought a couple of pieces of plastic for twenty bucks!!!!!!!!...........Bill S

Well barring any other input I guess I'm gonna have to call this one a victory for Wayne.:wavey:

Sorry about your luck there Red... Do they both slant the same way or is there a right and a left?

I dunno, CosmoKat said that they were INSERTS for the boarding ladder, so still a very viable possibility the way I see it

But, maybe, just maybe I'm close

I'm thinkin' chromed plastic would make for a poor traction insert for a step pad...
