If you keep a trailer on grass, do you put anything under the wheels to keep it from "sinking" into the dirt?

synack,
It's a good idea to at least have something like a 2”x10” of PT about 2’ or so just to keep the tires off of the moist ground for long periods of time. Plus, like you said, it will prevent it from settling into the ground.

I used to use scrap plywood. Cut up two strips, drive on and drive off. Way easy and cheap. When the plywood rots out, make two more.
When I was parking on the grass I had five 2X2' pavers four for the wheels and one for the jack I set them into the ground for easy mowing it kept thing neat looking.

If you are going to store on grass or dirt for long periods of time, jack up the trailer axles to relieve pressure on the tires and springs. Also cover the tires to slow down UV rot.

Parking a trailer on grass exposes springs, etc. to more frequent moisture. This will cause springs to rust faster than parking on a surface that dries quickly after getting wet.
