Lee , remove the old rub rail and fill allthe holes that were used. Holes on new rail never match the old. Get first rail and mark center. That is going to be placed at the center of the bow, your starting point. Dry fit the rail and shift R or L to clear any obstacles. like screws holding the hull together. It's best you have a helper but not necessary. No heat gun is needed only a good mallet. When you bend around the bow , use hand pressure and bend the rail w/ the mallet slowly around the bend. Instead of doing all this typing, give me a call 770-886-8859 and I will better explain. Jim
