I have an 87 Z21, 454MAG (330HP).

On the first trip out, 49.7MPH gps @ 4,200RPM with full tank of gas against outgoing tide on Hollywood, FL ICW. I was unable to vary trim much because of short duration between idle/slow zones. On the return trip, 4,500RPM, but unknown speed due to dead gps battery.

Does anyone know the top MPH, and RPM attainable with this setup? (Actually, I am quite pleased with cruising at 3,200 RPB, 40+ MPH with the setup, but it's always nice to know the maximum capabilities).

I'm also wondering how fuel economy will vary from my 25 SeaRay with 260HP 350CI. 3,200 RPM on that one only results in about 25-30MPH.

I really enjoy the SeaRay for what it is, but I have quickly become addicted to the Donzi for what it is....just what I needed, two boats!!!, and I love them both!!
