would this boat be an actual Blackhawk or just a regular 22 with the blackhawk drive?

I'd say original Blackhawk, judging by how hight the exhaust tips are.

A true blackhawk would have more likely come with the K-planes like this one also, right?

Based on what I'm seeing, I would say it's an original BlackHawk boat. Another good way to tell is to check/ask about the center floor "cooler" compartment. Real deal BH's had the fuel tank moved back. There is an access port behind the cooler hatch to get to the pickup and sender. Also the cooler hatch is bonded in and thus there's no functional center cooler on the BH's (the hatch is glued shut).

I would check with donzi,if you read under engine specs ir reads "NEW" blackhawk drive. Ive never saw a blackhawk drive blow at 130hrs...But you never know it could be original..

i would say yes. new drive... i tore mine up by accidentally hitting neutral while jumping waves. i have a 1995 b.h l/e #007. my cooler hatch is held in with 4 screws. i think and i stress "think" that all black hawks had b.h in the serial number

Looks like a real blackhawk. That is a nice boat, 96 was the first year of the Gen VI 502 with the roller cam setup. Very nice. Switchable exhaust, looks like some kind of mechanical indicator cable but I do not see anything on the dash. Anyone know what that cable is off the drive? Not the standard Blackhawk paintjob either, makes it more unique.

That appears to be original or someone went to a lot of trouble to make it look like an original. You too can have a roostertail like the picture below. If you get it, I have spare props to sell.

I just made a fair offer so we'll see what happens

thanks eh...

I may just have to take you up on the offer of the props if it goes through

and I looked at it while it was still here for a friend.

It is the genuine deal, as the general consensus of this thread is stating.

I remember it being a really nice boat with low hours.

Good luck picking her up.
