View Full Version : Deleted black hoses

Finally got rid of the blk. hoses for the cooling system. Was time consuming and not to mention the bloody finger tips. Had to remove the ss wire where the clamp is after stripping two clamps. Used a Dremel for that job and tried to make sure blade didn't cut through the rubber hose. Looks alot better. Jim

Oooooh! That's a pretty engine! I agree with Poodle, though. My hatch will be kept closed whenever I'm parked next to you at an event. Love your exhaust system, looks mighty familiar to me....

Thanks for the comments, makes all the work worth it. It was tough working w/ the 18an hose to the exh. tough to bend. Word to the wise, do research before buying "an" ss hose. Sizing was the issue, most suppliers gave incorrect info on id of hose. Namely Summit. Probably understandable, an hose is suppose to be used w/ an fittings. I used clamps.

Yep, half closeed cooling. Heat exchanger installed front of eng. between the stringers.
